to all of our loved ones!

IRISH HISTORY DISCUSSION – TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10 …

We will be at Catherine Rooney’s Irish Pub, 1616 Delaware Avenue, Wilmington.  Our own Marjorie McNinch ‘s presentation will be on Louis A. Cazenove and his first trip to Europe 1829-30 which  included a stop in  Ireland.   Mr. Cazenove’s family  lived in Alexandria, Virginia and they were friends of the duPonts of Delaware.  The original story is on file at Hagley Museum.   We start at 7:30 p.m.   Mark your calendar!

January’s discussion on the Birmingham Six  was well received.  It carried a powerful message of fear, anger & prejudice.
