Here is an exciting letter we received that should be of interest to Delaware High School students who want to learn more about Ireland first-hand:
Hello! My name is Taryn Harrison and I coordinate a high school summer study abroad program in Ireland for teenagers, called the Irish Life Experience. This upcoming summer, we would like to try and get a student from each state to participate in the program.
Since we don't have anyone from Delaware yet and if you know anyone who might be interested, we would immediately offer them a $500 scholarship in order to participate in the 2010 Irish Life Experience Program. Some other Irish organizations around the country are matching our $500 scholarship as well, so it's actually a $1,000, which you might want to consider.
