IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT SOME CLUB MEMBERS WOULD LIKE TO BE PART OF THE PARADE COMMITTEE BUT DON'T KNOW HOW OR WHEN AND WHERE WE MEET. MOST OF US HAVE BEEN ON THE COMMITTEE SINCE ITS INCEPTION, AND WE'VE CREATED A REAL FAMILY ATMOSPHERE IN OUR GROUP, AND NEW FOLKS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!

will take place on

PARADE DAY
WHEN: Saturday, March 14, 2009--starting at 12:00 Noon
WHERE: King Street in Wilmington
Anyone who wants to be in the Parade with the Club, please assemble on King St. between 2nd & 4th Sts. For continuity, it would be great to see you in beige slacks and dark green ICCD sweatshirts. We will have a hay wagon for anyone who isn't up to walking.

PAINTING THE GREEN STRIPE
WHEN: Friday, March 13--NOON
WHERE: 11th & King Sts ("St. Patrick's Blvd.")
Join in the fun of kicking off our St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Mayor Jim Baker and the Parade Committee will paint a green stripe down the center of the block. (Actually, Paul Mahoney II does most of the work, but he'll be happy for you to help!)

BAKE SALE FUNDRAISER
When: Saturday, March 7
Where: Happy Harry's, Trolley Square--10 am to 2 pm (Call: 302 654-0271)
Crew: Annamay Claffey, Eileen Sweeney, Ann Marie Rizzo, Alice Seaburg, Pat Sianni, Carol Duffy, Eileen McKeown & Holly Fleming.

Crew: Susan Clynes, Helen Bogert, Ann Mullin, & Kathy Madison
Helpers to assist the crews for an hour or two would be much appreciated...but, MOSTLY, we need BAKERS to donate all kinds of goodies--the more, the better! And, of course, we need BUYERS--so do stop by one of the venues and buy lots! Please call one of the above numbers to volunteer your time and/or baking talents.
